What is a Theme Loop? Why are Loops Better? How To Play a Role Checklist How to Get Started
|
|
<< back << Why are Theme Loops Better? How Can Communities and Businesses Play a Role? In developing the Lake Champlain Bikeways network, communities and businesses can participate passively, or they can participate actively. A passive approach means continuing to accommodate (or not to accommodate) touring bicyclists at current levels. An active approach means working with Lake Champlain Bikeways to establish and promote a high-quality bicycle theme loop in your area. We prefer the latter! The critical question to ask yourself and your community is: "Do we want to improve and increase bicycling and bicycle tourism in our community?" If the answer is yes, the following checklist is a good place to start. Remember, this checklist provides an overview of the good steps typically involved. Each theme loop will have its unique characteristics and needs. >> next >> Theme Loop Development Checklist |
